Moderator: Dr. David Harris

Speakers: Dr. Bertil Friberg, Dr. Hannees Watchel, Dr. Ana Ferro, Dr. Paul O’Reilly

Professor Brånemark treated his first edentulous patient in 1965 bringing to life an industry that has transformed rehabilitation of edentulous and soon-to-be edentulous patients around the world.

Our esteemed speakers will assess the impact of quality of life for all possibilities including the All-On-4® treatment concept. We take a tour around the world on how the evolution of edentulous treatment concepts offer improved quality of life.

Achieving clinical excellence in challenging situations

Speakers: Dr. Steve Bongard, Dr. Guy McLellan, Dr. Andrew Dawood

Treating the untreatable patients in a minimally invasive way. This session will feature a select range of treatment protocols for the compromised patient. The session will discuss factors ranging from general medical conditions to various functional and esthetic impairments requiring advanced treatment concepts.

Innovation Forum – reaching excellence in esthetics

Moderator: Dr. Paul O’Reilly

Speakers: Dr. Eric Rompen, Dr. Alessandro Pozzi, Dr. Saj Jivraj

This session will feature innovations tackling and challenging the status quo with respect to soft tissue health, the digitally integrated workflow for an esthetic outcome and guidelines for full-arch CAD/CAM restorations.

Master classes

Designing and engineering to optimise soft and hard tissue outcomes

Speakers: Dr. Paul O’Reilly, Dr. Eric Rompen

Bone grafting and associated augmentation techniques are traditionally applied for proper implant placement in partially edentulous patients with insufficient hard and soft tissue. Today however, following our quest for less invasive and more predictable solutions, new products (creos and creos xenogain), techniques and protocols are available to avoid extensive grafting procedure in moderate defects.

Is removing and replacing trans-mucosal components on bone level implants having a negative impact on the soft tissue? Learn the comparative advantages of a new component that offers undisturbed soft tissue healing. Placed on conical connection implants at surgery, it enables platform shifting and can be used with either cement or screw-retained prosthetics.

Patient journey: Effective patient communication and consent

Speakers: Ms. Michelle Ryckman, Dr. Steve Bongard

Perhaps the most important and most overlooked part of implant practice is the patient journey. In this master class our speakers will share the approaches and tools that have worked for them. Key insights into techniques for increasing patient flow, treatment acceptance, protocols and solutions that can help to grow a practice.

This master class is an all day event. Delegates attending this master class will be unable to attend the morning plenary session.

Reaching excellence in esthetics by joining the journey of digital dentistry

Speakers: Dr. Alessandro Pozzi, Dr. Eddie O’Reilly, Mr. Luc Rutten, Mr. Glenn McEvoy

With appropriate treatment planning and attention to detail, high quality predictable and esthetically pleasing restorations can be reality for both practitioners and patients alike. Dental technology has a considerable contribution in achieving an excellent esthetic results.

Speakers in this session will focus on teamwork between lab technician and clinicians and how to achieve predictable results. New innovations and latest developments of the FZC (Full Contour Zirconia) Crown, 3D digital planning with NobelClinician, 2G scanning and the new NobelDesign will be discussed.

Edentulous evolution – the All-on-4® treatment concept

Speakers: Dr. Ana Ferro, Dr. Saj Jivraj

Gain practical knowledge of the All-on-4® treatment concept protocol by drilling and testing components on models. Learn how to tilt the implants and the tools available for the procedure. Practice converting a denture into a provisional bridge.

Edentulous evolution – the Brånemark Zygoma solution

Speakers: Dr. Guy McLellan, Dr. Michael Freedman

A review of the surgical and prosthetic paths to a successful restoration. Learn practical procedures and steps on a model to prepare you for the zygoma implant treatment journey.

Immediate implant placement: Partially edentulous/single missing tooth

Speaker: Dr. José Navarro

Combining lecture and hands-on formats, this workshop is designed for clinicians involved in both surgical and prosthetic aspects of advanced implant treatment and aims to familiarise participants with the everyday practice of implant treatment. This workshop will address how to place implants in an ideal 3-dimensional position with proper soft and hard tissue thickness
