Preliminary data from 82 patients with 87 immediately temporized NobelReplace Conical Connection implants placed in the healed sites of the anterior maxilla were presented at IADR in June, 2014.
At 1 year, the results available with 57 patients / 59 implants show a 98.9% CSR and less than 1 mm bone remodeling overall, and a stabilization of marginal bone after 6 months (–0.09 mm remodeling between the 6 month and 1 year visits).
In addition, good soft tissue responses are evidenced by healthy peri-implant mucosa and better papilla scores compared to the baseline. Furthermore, the patients report (OHIP 14) a vast improvement in quality of life.
These results highlight the effectiveness of NobelReplace Conical Connection implants as a treatment option for patients with a single missing tooth in the anterior maxilla.
